The Country Club of Fairfax offers a number of opportunities to play tennis, regardless of your level of play or past playing experience. The tennis community here at the Club, with both our knowledgeable and personable staff, as well as our active and enthusiastic members, creates an inviting and competitive atmosphere for players.
Headed by Director of Tennis Steve Gallagher, our staff includes three USPTA or USPTR certified professionals, with experience and expertise to teach tennis to players of all ages and abilities. The team is committed to ensuring our players learn something new, get a good workout each and every lesson, all while enjoying the game. Our primary goal is to teach players how to have the most possible fun on the court. We believe tennis becomes more fun as you develop your skills and improve your ability to do more with the ball, cover and incorporate more of the court, sustain a rally, and execute specific stroke patterns and combinations. The staff is also available to assist members in a number of other ways, such as racquet selection, game arranging, and court maintenance.
We have a full-service Tennis Pro Shop with a varied selection of merchandise. Members are offered special discounts on tennis and fitness attire, including CCF logo wear and are guaranteed the best prices on tennis racquets and accessories. We offer a next day service for stringing, re-gripping and racquet repairs. In addition, we sponsor periodic buying and fashion shows and demo days to introduce and reintroduce product lines. Tennis Pro Shop also has a catalog that includes information on all of our products as well as a reference guides for stringing, racquet selection and apparel sizing.
